STACHYS (Lambs Ears)

Helen Von Stein: Ht. 8"- 10"

Lamb's-Ears are one of the most popular silver-leaved perennials, used widely for edging along pathways and borders. Plants form a dense clump of soft, felvit silver grey leaves. Upright spikes of magenta-pink flowers form in early summer.

  Hummelo: Ht. 10"- 20"

This is a clump-forming perennial, forming a low mound of crispy green foliage. In early summer the upright spikes of bright-purple flowers appear, which attract bees to the nectar. Removing faded flowers will encourage more buds to form for weeks on end. An interesting and unusual perennial for near the front of the border, or in containers.
